Important reminders for SPM

There are a few important things candidates need to bring in order to ensure a smooth sailing examination process. Here are the must have items to bring when sitting for SPM:

• IC (Candidates are required to present their IC at the top right corner of the table throughout the whole examination period)
• Examination slip
• Stationery (Pens, pencils, erasers, calculators, etc. It is advised to bring a spare set in case of emergencies)

All candidates are required to be present in the exam hall 20 minutes before the start of each written exam and the listening test. For the speaking tests and practical exams, it is advised to be present in the waiting area 10 minutes before the session starts.

Candidates will not be allowed to sit for the paper should they arrive later than 30 minutes from when the exam has begun. Admission before those 30 minutes are at the discretion of the head invigilator. No extra time will be allocated if a candidate is late. You are highly encouraged to plan your time carefully to make sure you’re on time.
